By submitting this application, you indicate you understand the following:
  • In general, financial aid (scholarships, grants, loans and Federal Work Study) cannot be awarded beyond a student's cost of attendance budget.
  • Be advised your Federal Work Study award can minimize any additional loan funding you may be interested in applying for and vice versa.
  • If you have a scholarship awarded on a semester-by-semester basis (i.e., STEM, WINS, Promise), once your Spring eligibility is determined, it could affect your maximum Federal Work Study award.
  • You must maintain eligibility for the entire period you are employed. Standard eligibility includes:
  1.  Maintaining a minimum 2.0 GPA
  2. Avoid financial aid suspension and/or staying in compliance with a previously established probation plan
  3. Staying enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours
  • If you fall into financial aid suspension after working with the Federal Work Study Program, you cannot use working too much, or working with the Federal Work Study Program as a mitigating circumstance in the Financial Aid Appeal.
