year at CCTC, and certify that I

Am a legal resident of South Carolina, and a United States citizen
or a legal permanent resident
·
Graduated from high school in South Carolina, or successfully
completed a home school program as
prescribed by law, or graduated from a preparatory high school outside
South Carolina, while a dependent of a parent or guardian who is a legal
resident of South Carolina and has custody of me
·
Am admitted, classified as a degree-seeking student and enrolled
full-time
·
Am working toward a first undergraduate degree
·
Will use the LIFE Scholarship for tuition and fees and other
educational costs at CCTC
·
Have not defaulted and do not owe a refund or repayment on any
Federal or State financial aid
·
Have not been adjudicated delinquent, convicted, or pled guilty or
nolo contendere to any felonies or any second or subsequent
alcohol/other drug related offenses under the laws of this or any other state
or under the laws of the United States within the past academic year
·
I understand
that I must be enrolled in a minimum of twelve credit hours in classes
numbered one hundred one (101) or higher for the Fall and/or Spring semesters
in order to receive the South Carolina LIFE Scholarship. If I drop below twelve credit hours and LIFE
is removed, I will be responsible for any charges on my account.

To renew the
scholarship, I must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and earn 30 credit hours by
the end of the Summer semester.
You can receive LIFE Scholarship for a maximum of four semesters while
at Central Carolina.

If I am
receiving LIFE for the first time in the Spring semester, I must earn 15
hours with a 3.0 GPA by the end of the Summer semester to renew the
scholarship.

Summer semester may be used to meet the requirements for renewal. LIFE Scholarship is not awarded during the Summer semester.

Lottery Tuition Assistance may not be awarded during the Summer of
an aid year when LIFE was received during the fall and/or spring term(s).
